A community announcement from Debbie Chapman about the 3rd annual Cherry Festival (click here for the Google map):

The Cherry Festival will be held in Cherry Park on July 10th. Last year was a great success and we anticipate an even larger crowd this year (approx. 3,000). At the festival we have such things as live music, miniature horses, a bouncy thingy, lots of vendors, food and lots of cherries and cherry baked goods. We are looking for local artists to set up booths to paint, draw, sew or sculpture and/or sell their work. I would appreciate it if you could please send this 'call for artists' to the members of your group. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. It is a lot of fun and a great way to get to know new people in the area.
